Ganga Mata Charitable Eye Hospital Haridwar organized a free Eye Checkup camp at RIT

Roorkee Institute of Technology, Roorkee in association with Ganga Mata Charitable Eye Hospital Haridwar organized a free Eye Checkup camp for the general public on April 19, 2022 at RIT Campus.

The program started with welcoming Dr. Rashmi Tripathi and her medical team by the Chairman, RIT CA S. K. Gupta and Vice Chairman Mr. Sanjay Agarwal. Dr. Tripathi in her address said that the eye being an important organ of human body needs to be taken care of and Ganga Mata Charitable Trust has taken an initiative to provide free check up and lens distribution for patients who are suffering from cataract in adjoining areas of Roorkee.

In this free eye check up camp, the people from villages of Puhana, Kishanpur, Nanhera, Saliyar, Madhopur, Karondi etc participated and nearly 110 villagers took benefit. Director General RIT, Dr. M.J.Nigam and Director RIT Dr. Parag Jain thanked all the people who came to this camp and got benefitted. Mr. Harshit Gautam was the co-ordinator of this program. The students of Utprerna Club of SWAR RIT were the members of the organizing committee who initiated this program.
