National Innovation Contest (NIC) 2020

RIT national innovation contest

It is with great honor and pleasure to announce that three teams (only teams from Uttarakhand) of RIT Roorkee have been shortlisted in NIC 2020 (National Innovation Contest).

The title of the prototypes is mentioned below:

Detection of Myrocardial Infarction by Nitesh Kesharwani

Empowering Military with Hydrogen by Vansh Raj


Institution Innovation Council (IIC) of MHRD’s Innovation Cell and AICTE have designed an annual innovation context to identify the creative minds from IIC Institutes and engage them in building prototypes and nurturing them into start-ups through series of mentorships, boot camps and international acceleration programs.

A 360- degree approach of learning – It is designed in a way that each team will traverse a path from problem identification and ideation to building business model and finally entering the phase of Enterprise development in a time period of one year.

  2. Nominated representatives from IIC-Institutes will get orientation on NISP, ARIIA 2021 and other programs related to Innovation/Start-up at MIC & AICTE.
